Made up of five small New England villages, Tamworth finds itself perfectly placed in-between the rugged White Mountains and the many beautiful lakes of New Hampshire's Lake Region.

The town is comprised of the Villages of Tamworth, South Tamworth, Chocorua, Wonalancet, and Whittier; all of which are just a short drive to the larger lakes of NH including Winnipesaukee, Ossipee, and Squam.

Many homes in this area offer fantastic views of the 3,490 foot Mt. Chocorua and surrounding Sandwich range. Interestingly enough, Chocorua claims to be the most photographed mountain in America.
