Margie MacDonald
In 1970, after attending SpringfieldCollege, I came to New Hampshire to work for the summer and never left!! The natural beauty, tranquil lifestyle, and the people became my life, and I decided to make the Mt.WashingtonValley my home. I began to work part-time in real estate while I received my master’s degree from the University of Southern Maine in counseling. In 1975 I began to sell real estate full time and to use the skills that my education had taught me.
Today, I live on SilverLake in Madison with my husband Mac. Mac is a retired police officer and presently is a self employed contractor. (Please feel free to contact him at macdonald46@adelphia.net .) We are very involved in the New Hampshire Highland Games and Mac is on the Board of Directors. With a name like Malcolm MacDonald, how could he not be a proud Scotsman!!
Our children are grown and living all over the world. Our oldest daughter has recently moved from Sydney, Australia to Copenhagen, Denmark with her husband and four year old daughter. Our son lives on 57th Street in New York City and is an artist working in the entertainment industry in production. Luckily, one of our children lives less than a mile down the road from us with her husband and two children. Our youngest was a professional snowboarder and foreran the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Alpine Snowboard events. She presently lives and works in the Mt.WashingtonValley.
I am a cancer survivor and pride myself in making each day the best it can be. I try to enjoy life to the fullest, working hard but always making time for my family, friends, and all that makes me happy. We own a vacation home in the Port Charlotte/Englewood area of Florida and hope to retire in the future living six months in Florida and six months on SilverLake. However, no matter how much time we spend in Florida, the White Mountains of New Hampshire will always be our home.

Jeana M. Hale- DeWitt
I am a native New Englander, born and raised in Rockport, MA. I made the move to the Mount WashingtonValley in 1994. I fell in love with the area for many reasons, the breathtaking scenery, the friendly people, the safe environment and the numerous outdoor activities. It was the perfect place to call home and enjoy raising a family.
In 1994 I met Margie MacDonald and she helped to make my childhood dream, of owning a classic New England farmhouse come true. Though the years I stayed friends with Margie and was inspired by her to get into the real estate industry. I started in the real estate field in 2000 when I work as an administrator for Re/Max Presidential. In 2001 I got a real estate license and began in sales, in 2003 I became partners with Margie, and we formed Team MacDonald & Hale. We have a strong belief that with our team , we can provide the best in customer service. We share a vision that thru education, knowledge and team support we can provide exceptional customer care.
Margie introduced me to my husband Eric several years ago and she performed our wedding ceremony in pa June 2005. Eric and I bought another classic country home in Conway, with our children Austin and Lauren and our 2 dogs Liberty & Mercy. We both enjoy restoring older homes to their classic beauty.
I enjoy valley life and being a REALTOR. I believe that as an active member of my community and the REALTOR organization that I promote the Mt.WashingtonValley and its way of life. In the community I work as a member of Conway Zoning Board, Pinetree School PTA and actively donate to many local charities. I also actively participate within the REALTOR organization both at the local and state level, as a member of NHAR Public Policy committee, White Mountain Board Public relations committee, and as a member of the honor society. I have been elected the White Mountain Board of REALTORS President for 2009. I also believe in continuing my education to better serve my clients. I have recently completed the Graduate REALTOR Institute program. I have made a wonderful career choice and I am really fortunate to work in a team environment where excellence is foremost, laughter is encouraged, and love of the real estate business is promoted and cherished. It's not only a career, it's a lifestyle. As a REALTOR®, I am working all of the time yet it never feels like work. It is tremendously satisfying to help families find the home of their dreams.
Let Team MacDonald & Hale make your real estate dreams real!
